The new type of disconnector produced by our company has the characteristics of fast action and the ability to withstand the specified current impact and action load. All technical parameters meet the requirements of the standard IEC 60099-4:2014 Surge arresters –Part 4: Metal-oxide surge arresters without gaps for a.c. systems standards.
It can be disconnected not only under large power frequency fault current (>50A), but also under small fault current (50mA).
It can be matched with the reclosing function of the circuit breaker, not only for various voltage levels and various types of surge arresters, but also for different grounding systems (neutral grounding and ungrounding systems).
No action under 2ms square wave and 4/10μs high current impact.
It can be used with lightning arresters below 36KV, and can also be used with lightning arresters of 36~220KV.
The threaded external interface is reliable and convenient to connect with the surge arrester in series connection, and the replacement is extremely convenient.

Surge arresters with voltage levels below 36KV are installed with insulating brackets. The surge arrester is fixed with insulating bracket, and the disconnector is installed on the lower terminal of the surge arrester. The grounding wire is made of braided soft copper wire with a length of about 3000mm to ensure that the surge arrester body has enough insulation distance after separation.
